But thanks to Facebook\u2019s restrictions on entering birth dates, she\u2019s forced to lie about her age. Writing in the about section on her Facebook page, she says \u201cFacebook wouldn&#8217;t let me enter in a date that goes back that far\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p><strong>Gail Marlow, Mrs Joseph\u2019s granddaughter and the administrator of her page, says that when she tries inputting her grandmother&#8217;s birth year as 1908, Facebook changes it to 1928. So for the past two years, the Michigan centenarian has remained 99 online. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p><wp-block data-block=\"core\/more\"><\/wp-block>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<table style=\"height: 1px; width: 1px;\" border=\"0\" align=\"right\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<p><script><\/p>\n<p><\/script><\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>\u201cDue to my eyesight, my Granddaughter Gail is in charge of all my postings and responses. She reads me my public and private messages regularly,\u201d writes Mrs Joseph, who is registered blind and is hard of hearing.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p><strong>Ms Marlow told Click on Detroit that Facebook allowed her to \u201cshare her grandmother with the world\u201d, even if she has to be just 99. \u201cI truly believe being online has helped keep her young,\u201d said Ms Marlow.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div>\n<p><strong>Ms Marlow has gathered 198 friends and posted 84 pictures on her grandmother\u2019s behalf.
